Frequently Asked
The questions I get most before starting a project.
It depends on scope, but I'm priced significantly below agencies for the same work — because there's no middleman. No project managers, no account executives, no offshore handoffs adding markup. You work directly with the person designing and building your site, which dramatically cuts the cost. You'll get an exact, all-in quote before any work starts — no surprise invoices, no hourly billing creep.
See the published pricing guide→It depends on the plan. Counting from when I have your deposit and your content (photos, text), a Starter 3-page site takes 5–7 business days, Basic about 1–2 weeks, and Plus projects with booking or e-commerce run 2–4 weeks. Once we agree on scope you get a clear timeline with milestones, and you'll see real progress every week.
I'm based in Los Angeles and many of my clients are local, but I work with businesses across the U.S. and internationally — including clients in Korea. Everything happens over video calls, email, and Slack. Distance doesn't slow things down.
Yes. Every site I build is optimized for Google from day one — proper structured data, meta tags, fast loading, mobile-first design, schema markup, and local SEO setup. For service-based and restaurant clients, I also handle Google Business Profile setup and review schema. Many clients see first-page Google rankings within 60–90 days.
Google Business Profile setup guide→Yes. I'm fully bilingual in English and Korean and have built sites in English, Korean, Spanish, and Japanese. Multilingual setup includes language toggle, locale-aware SEO, and proper hreflang tags so each language version ranks correctly on Google.
Korean & bilingual web design→You don't have to learn anything. Updates are handled by me as part of an ongoing monthly service that also includes SEO, security patches, and performance monitoring. Need to change a menu, swap a photo, add a new service, post a promo? Just email me — it's done. No CMS to learn, no logins to manage, no risk of breaking the site.
Yes — and most clients bundle them into a single monthly service plan. It covers fast/secure hosting, ongoing SEO and Google ranking work, content updates, security patches, performance monitoring, and small design tweaks as the business evolves. Your site stays current and keeps ranking — without you having to think about it. Cancel anytime; the site keeps running on its own.
You do. Once the project is paid in full, you own the design, the code, the domain, and the content. I hand over everything — repository access, hosting credentials, asset files. No lock-in, no proprietary system holding your site hostage. You can take it anywhere.
A fair question, and one I'd ask too. Two answers. First, I've been building websites for over 12 years with 50+ launches, and most of my clients are with me on a monthly care plan. Second, I build every site so it never depends on one person. After final payment you own the code, the domain, and the hosting accounts outright, so any developer could pick it up tomorrow without missing a step. Care plans cancel anytime — and your site keeps running either way.
Usually it's not one big thing — it's several quiet ones stacking up: the site isn't optimized for the searches your customers actually type, it loads slowly on phones, Google can't read its structure (no structured data), there's no Google Business Profile connected to it, or the content never mentions your city and neighborhood. Most business sites I audit have three or more of these at once. The good news: they're all fixable, and local competition is usually weak enough that fixing them moves you up fast. Send me your site and I'll tell you exactly what's holding it back — the audit is free.
